On the 13th of August at 16:00, Pétur Geir opened his second solo exhibition „Annarskonar Annarspann“ in Kartöflugeymslurnar gallery. The art show was open until the 20th of august.

The exhibition translates to different kinds of seasons. When I moved to Stockholm I experienced more extravagant seasons, intense colors in beautiful gradients, and a new sense of the seasons. I tried to communicate my experiences through this exhibition by displaying the artwork in a long timeline where the viewer could walk through the exhibition like seasons, and experience the subtle gradient of the colors changing with each passing step as well as trying to incorporate some type of nuanced humor into the works that resemble the ever-changing emotion that different part of the year affect us. The art exhibition had reliefs that Pétur had been working on since he moved to Stockholm in august 2021.

Laugardaginn 13. ágúst kl 14:00 opnaði Pétur Geir sýninguna „Annarskonar Annarspann“ í kartöflugeymslunum. Sýningin stóð til 21. ágúst. Sýningin samanstendur af lágmyndum sem Pétur hefur hannað síðan hann flutti til Svíþjóðar í ágúst 2021. Verkin fara yfir þær öðruvísi árstíðir sem Pétur hefur upplifað eftir að hann flutti til Svíþjóðar. Sýningin er uppsett þannig að áhorfandinn gengur í gegnum árstíðirnar og upplifir blæbrigði lita og tengingu við ákveðin augnablik sem vakna á mismunandi tímum yfir árið sem eru oft frekar skondin og fá ekki nægilegt rými til að stalda við og njóta þeirra til fulls.
